Olafiyin Taiwo regularly contributes to professional and academic dialogues on spatial planning, governance, and resilience. She has delivered invited talks, facilitated panels, and chaired sessions at international forums hosted by organisations such as the Royal Town Planning Institute (RTPI), the Commonwealth Association of Planners (CAP), the Commonwealth Local Government Forum (CLGF), the Commonwealth Secretariat, UN-Habitat, the International Society of City and Regional Planners (ISOCARP), the World Health Organization (WHO), the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), the United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific (UNESCAP), and UNICEF, among others.

Her contributions have also extended to Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting (CHOGM) side events and ministerial dialogues, advancing planning education, leadership, and sustainable development policy across Commonwealth nations.
